Visual Activist/ Visual Artist/ Traveller.
Born and raised in the small ancient town of Ajudhan/ Pakpattan, Punjab, Zaheer Chaudhry found himself interested in rural areas, indigenous people, and in rituals and traditions true to his place of birth. As a teenager, he fell in love with Ajudhan's rich old architectural design elements on a journey to discover scholarly evidence reinforcing Ajudhan’s significance at religious and mythological levels.
This childhood passion drove him to become a traveller, photographer and visual artist. Educational institutions like G.C.U. and N.C.A Lahore extended his horizons regarding cultural anthropology and visual arts.
Explore to expand remains a vague and in early 2007 when he joined social media and it offered sharing, “explorePakistan” this remains Pakistan’s 1st travelling group and page shares visual stories of Pakistan and it gives opportunities to be a travel and photojournalist for creative and positive sharing, and it continued when recommendations and nominations were knocking at.

Including; Consolation Letter from Bill Clinton [Former USA President] at American Center Lahore, on UN’s commemorative “Earth Day April 22”. And I won several awards for GCU and NCA and later in professional life; I received many appreciations for my achievements.

Since 2017, for the rural people of Pakistan, where they have no art galleries, museums and art studios, we’re conducting #CarbonRoadsideArts, Pakistan’s 1st roadside art curations including Art Workshops, Photography Exhibition and Film Screenings across Pakistan in schools, colleges, universities and public places of Gilgit, AJK, KPK, Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan.

#ProtocolToFuture #TreePlantationIsArt and #LivingSculpture are the basic ideas of our tree plantation drives, in both seasons; spring and monsoon, since 2016 across Pakistan in the schools, madrassas, police stations, hospitals, and common public places we are planting indigenous plants/ trees, and the project success remains 76%.
